Peek inside other people's luggage on new photo sharing site

If packing for a holiday takes you a long time, you might take some inspiration from a new photo sharing blog where travellers’ suitcases are opened up and their contents laid out to give us a glimpse into what people are packing.

‘I AM PACKED’ allows travellers to post a mini profile of themselves with a snapshot of their bag’s contents and a written packing list for all to see at the click of a mouse.

Aside from its clear voyeuristic appeal, the site aims to help us compare notes in how to pack efficiently.

It’s not the only site that delves into our packing choices. Theburninghouse.com asks people to reel off what they would bring with them if their house was burning, by uploading a written list and a photo of the contents.

Would you be willing to share the contents of your suitcase through I AM PACKED with others and if so, why? Is this site a good or a bad idea?

I don’t know if I would want someone to see what I am packing. I think it would be an invasion of privacy. But it sounds like it would be a personal choice and not an absolute.
