Two of London’s latest tourist attractions are offering those with a head for heights a whole new perspective on the capital.

London’s cable car across the Thames recently opened and now visitors can scale the roof of the 02 Arena in Greenwich and take in 360 degree views across the capital.

The new attraction – named ‘Up at the 02′ – takes small groups at a time across the roof via a 190m walkway to a circular viewing platform in the middle.

The walkway is 60 metres off the ground at its highest point.

Those without tickets to the Olympic Games will at least get great views over the top of the 02 to the Olympic Park, and other iconic sights including the Shard and Canary Wharf. No binoculars needed.

The 90 minute climb costs £22 for adults and children (over 10s only). Safety harnesses and climbing suits are included.
