Passengers passing through Paris airports can roll up their sleeves and try a free, hands-on cooking class while waiting for their flight.
Cooking school, Atelier des Chefs will be teaching passengers how to whip up specialty French dishes in ten minutes – from honey glazed apple casserole to baked eggs with vegetable confit.
Budding chefs can savour their experience by taking their dish away with them.
Franck Mereyde, Paris-Orly Airport’s managing director said he hopes the cooking class “will make the airport experience more pleasant.”
The chefs have also created a recipe for each airport: southern-style sea bream papillote at Paris Orly and salmon papillote with dill and cucumber at Charles de Gaulle.
The classes, which were offered last week, will fire up again on November 25 (Friday) to December 1 at Paris Orly’s South Terminal Departures Hall and Charles de Gaulle’s Arrivals Hall at Terminal 2F.
